Maude Mertens graduated from Ghent University in 1997 with a licentiate degree in law and began her career as a lawyer in the same year. In 2004, she gained an additional diploma in intellectual property law from the Catholic University of Brussels. Maude has been a partner at DLPA since 2012.
Maude focuses on company law and has built up considerable experience in complex takeovers. She can also assist you with advice, litigation and drawing up contracts.
Maude also supports restructuring processes and companies in difficulty, and she can be appointed as a company liquidator.
